Your friendly local marriage and family therapist Nicole Locorriere, LMFT is hosting a couples workshop to teach evidence-based principles for making marriage work. This two-hour lecture is an introduction to the Gottman Method, one of the most widely accepted couples therapy frameworks practiced today. Couples will learn how to enhance their friendship, as well as how and why this is the foundation of a sound relationship house. It’s a great fit for couples who are struggling to communicate, and who love each other but don’t feel connected. The workshop does not require that couples share any intimate information with other participants or the host.
Your host, Gottman Leader, Nicole is a licensed marriage and family therapist and owner of Prologue Therapy and Relationship Counseling at 115 Main Street in Flemington. She specializes in helping couples rekindle romance after feeling like “roommates,” couples who are on the brink of divorce, and individuals who are looking for clarity regarding their relationships. When she’s not working, Nicole loves to crochet, write poems, and spend time with her husband, Jeff, and their goldendoodle, Holly.
