What does Collective Liberation mean to you?
Within a community of 10 cooperators, we will explore Liberation through readings, conversation and art making in the form of a community quilt. Participants are encouraged to join our Fiber Series to set a foundation for our work together. We will also meet to share guiding texts and our thoughts on what futures are possible, and to brainstorm the design and intent of our Community Quilt.
Each participant will create quilt squares following the guidelines of our collective vision during the Spring of 2025. Over the summer, we will gather to piece the quilt together and hand stitch it.
In September 2025, we will have a group show at Flemington DIY displaying our Community Quilt, along with other works from our wider community.
