Flemington DIY will be introducing a Summer Writing Workshop Series starting on May 30, 2018.
The goals of this writing series include providing a safe space for community members to work on their writing, sharing work and receiving feedback, and working with one another to find inspiration and motivation to write. The structure of the meetings will be a collaborative effort and input from members is encouraged. All levels of writing experience are welcome, from first time creative writers to experienced writers!
*This series is FREE, there is no cost to participate*
Meetings will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 7pm-9pm at the DIY. There will be no meeting on July 4.
Meeting dates: 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18.
The writing series will culminate with an open mic night at the DIY on July 20 where members and others can share the writing they have been working on over the weeks!
