24 Hour Photo Capture + Show

Snap pics throughout Hunterdon County with us!

Now is the time to register for the Hunterdon 24/7 Photo Capture and Show! Select a 24 hour period between November 16 and November 30 to capture images throughout Hunterdon County. The photo capture culminates in a projected art show on Friday, December 6 at 6pm outside of Flemington DIY.

This creative challenge will get you outside, give you a chance to hone your photographic skills and join in on guided photo walks and workshops with local photographers.


Join one of our photo events throughout the month of November 

All events are free to join with a casual atmosphere, but guidance and tips will be provided throughout. Please help us plan better by pre-registering for these events!


November 2 @ 10am-12, Analog Photography Walk. For all the analog lovers – bring your film camera (35mm, medium format, polaroid, disposable) for a guided photo walk through Mine Brook Park and surrounding areas. Connect with other analog enthusiasts, share tips & tricks, and explore new subjects. 
Meeting Point: Large parking lot, 116 Capner St, Flemington, NJ 08822

November 17 @ 11am-1pm, Photo Challenge Workshop. This 2 hour workshop will provide prompts and “challenges” for participants to engage in and experiment with new styles and compositions. At the end, we will share our images and discuss how the challenge went. Participants can bring any type of camera and a curiosity to try new techniques.

November 24 @ 3:30-5pm, Flemington Borough Photo Walk. Join us for a free photo walk through the charming streets of Flemington Borough, hosted by The Corner/Flemington Focus. This event is open to all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just love snapping pictures on your phone. We’ll explore the borough’s beautiful Victorian architecture, capturing its unique character and charm.
Meeting Point: Flemington Historic Courthouse Steps 


What to Bring:

  • Any type of camera or phone—whatever you like to use to take pictures!
  • Enthusiasm for photography, no matter your experience level.

What you need to know:

  • Participants will choose a 24 hour period between Saturday, November 16 and Saturday, November 30 to capture moments in time in Hunterdon County.
  • All works need to be submitted via our online portal by November 30. Please submit up to 5 photos on our online portal to be projected outdoors.
    • We recommend uploading the largest file size possible for best projection results. 
  • Invite your friends and family to the projected photo show outdoors on Friday, December 6 at 6pm at Flemington DIY, 26 Stangl Rd, Flemington, NJ.
