Announcing 2020 Jazz Series

The roaring 20s are here!
We are excited to announce our 7th jazz series!
Kicking off in January, we’re hosting one show
each month thru May, our 6-year anniversary!

As always, all shows are all ages, accessible, $15, 7:30pm

January 25: Stephan Crump’s Rosetta Trio returns to kick off 2020.
After fifteen years of collaboration, Rosetta Trio charts new territories of shape and feel on its new album, Outliers, available now on Papillon Sounds.

February 29: Horizons Quartet is the newest collaboration between young artists; pianist, James Collins and saxophonist, Dan Wilkins, featuring original music by Wilkins, with veteran bassist Gene Perla and drummer Byron Landham.

March 21: A unique jazz duo, Monroe Micelli Jazz duo (violin & vibes) draws upon their collective experiences growing up in the ‘70’s with popular music, R & B, blues, folk, jazz and classical.

April 25: Peter Lin’s TNT Quartet features Peter Lin, trombonist/composer who grew up listening to an eclectic variety of genres around the house. A classical student on both violin and trombone until middle school, he developed a strong musical foundation before embodying all the different musical styles around the world.

May 30: Drummer Jeremy Dutton is poised to become the next major voice on his instrument and is already being lauded as a rising star in music. Coming from the tutelage of Craig Green and drummer Sebastian Whittaker, Dutton is the continuation of a lineage of fantastic and surprising drummers from Houston.
