Juneteenth Freedom Celebration at Dvoor Farms

June 16 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for the first annual Juneteenth celebration in Hunterdon County on Sunday, June 16 from 11 to 3 PM!

This family-friendly event will take place at Dvoor Farms / Hunterdon Land Trust (try either in your GPS), located at 111 Mine St in Flemington, and will feature food vendors and live entertainment! This is a FREE event.

This event is hosted by Roots, Blooms, and Yards, with support from the NAACP of Hunterdon County, Flemington DIY, the Hunterdon Count Anti-Racism Coalition, and the Princeton Balm Company + Jersey Shore Cosmetics.
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, symbolizes freedom and equality, marking the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States were emancipated. It is a day of reflection, education, and celebration of African American culture and heritage.

Our event aims to honor this significant day through a series of activities, including cultural performances, community outreach, and a celebration that brings our community together in solidarity and joy.
