An art happening by Christianne Ebel in collaboration with Flemington DIY – Saturday, June 11, 2-8pm
In response to the continued oppression and silencing of queer people, local photographer Christianne Ebel and Flemington DIY are hosting an art happening – Gay and Saying It!. Come join us for a pop up art show, consisting of portraits taken on site of queer people and allies alike, dialoguing prompts, and a recording booth where queer people have a dedicated place to tell their stories.
Come for a portrait, come for informational conversations on contemporary queer issues, come and have your story recorded, come to be supported and heard.
RSVP is not required, but strongly encouraged. All ages welcome.
