Welcome to Flemington DIY’s 2nd Annual Puzzle Pursuit! The event is a community-wide outdoor puzzle race. It’s a chance to play I-Spy with family and friends, test your knowledge of Flemington Borough landmarks, and let that competitive streak spur you on to victory! Challenge your problem-solving skills by cracking a variety of puzzle-based clues, and give yourself a reason to explore the heart of downtown Flemington.
If you participated in our inaugural puzzle race, this year’s event will look a bit different, so make sure to read all of the info below!
How to Play
- Form a team of up to 5 people.
- On the day of the event, each team will receive a set of the game clues and will have 1.5 hours to solve as many as they can. Each clue is in the form of a puzzle (riddles, limericks, decryptions, crosswords, etc.) There is no particular order for solving them, but you may want to consider strategizing in some way…. teamwork!
- A phone with a camera is required to play – as you solve each puzzle/clue, teams must photograph each of the locations revealed through the clues.
- At the end of the 1.5 hours, each team will return to the starting point at 21 Stangl Road. Team members will show their photographs to the race judges to receive a tally of how many clues were solved correctly.
- The top 3 teams with the most clues solved will be deemed winners – there will be prizes!
